Took a week trip down to the island they call Galveston near Tejas 🇨🇱. Rode out last Sunday morning and headed down 71, hit I10 and drop the hammer as we rolled down to 36, took the scenic route. We had a great time down at the island and hit a few old biker bars around the gulf coast too. Rode back this morning as we tried to beat the heat,we rode up through Freeport and Lake Jackson as we headed up 36 to I10. Made it back around 1pm today, temps were 87 when we left and 103 by the time we hit the driveway. Here’s a few shots .......🍻
Yes sir cooler temps and rally time too, we will be rolling that way too. I’m off nights and back on days once again, TG ....took a short ride this morning out to where I will be moving to next year, Canyon Lake off, Cranes Mill , we can’t wait to get moved out that way. 🍻✌🏻
Spent most all of the year sitting in a chair, or laying on an operating table.
Eight surgeries, first on Feb 01, broken hip surgery. #8 was Dec 26 for liver cancer. They tell me the cancer is gone 100%.
Haven't ridden at all til a few weeks ago, and then only 10-20 miles at a time.
I'm planning Saturday to ride up to the NB fairgrounds to check on my vendor.
Then on to Hillbillyz for a briscuit sandwich.

Took a ride today after my lawn chores. Is it me or has the population in New Braunfels doubled since yesterday. Went down common street and it looked like the car show had a full house. A **** load of classics cruising everywhere.
Stopped in at Gruene Harley to check out any new sleds and had a long talk with someone that went through all the pain from surgery's you had to endure. He had 3 near fatal bike accidents the last decade. He's the same age as me (62), and had his recent mishap 1 1/2 years ago down in S A., your neck of the woods. Takes a lot to get back in the saddle. I gotta tip my hat to you guys.
