Default No mess fork oil change

Made this from 5/16 inch aluminum rod. First attempt with longer hose did not work. Need to keep hose short to prevent siphoning back to fork tube.

Did you do the threading on the aluminum rod yourself?

I'm confused about where the oil mess is going to go after you break the drain screw loose, and before you get this new fitting screwed in and the catch bottle and hose connected.

Jack the front end off the ground prior to removing the screw. A little will dribble out, no way to prevent that.

Isn`t there a thread adapter made for that already so those who don`t have a lathe can do the same thing?
