Sportster FAT front tire
#2
I'd keep an eye out for a used wider rim in the classified section here or on Craigslist. If you want a spoked rim look for a 48 rim. Do you have room with your current forks or are you going to replace the front end? What is your skill level? Might get more replies if you supply more info.

Bike is total stock, black with the (roundy fuel tank)
The intention is to (I guess) mix some cafe style and some bobber style.
Peanut tank, flat bars, fat front tire (question how big of tire can be used with the stock forks? Chopped rear finder but keep the shocks and maybe the 10" shock, black pipes or add muffler the same OD and wrap the pipes,
Question: the stock risers are curved over the tank, with the peanut tank will theses risers work or not? And a bobber style spring seat.
Mostly looking for advise on the smarter way to go with out buying crap that is wrong or is proven to suck. Like with the limited that I have not had very long, I already have 2 seats 2 windshields 2 breather covers and still want to buy more *****. Well thanks and any advise for the sportster bobber is appreshiated. The pic is sorta kinda what we are thinking, I think LOL

'09 Custom is a narrow-glide front-end so it won't fit the 16" fat tire on later (2011-up) Sportster models. If you want to use that tire, you will have to change the front end to at least mid-glide which can accommodate 120 or 130 tire.
I don't know about the cheapest way if you have to change the front-end or at least the triple trees plus fat wheel/tire. You might be looking at the investment of $1k or more in this setup. Also add the cost of the new front fender if you want to complete the setup.
