RE: MTC Voyager Trike Kit failure
There was a thread here about a month ago from someone doing the voyager install. I understand trying to use something like the voyager kit to make a trike on the cheap but from the pics I saw the kit honestly looked like a real POS. Maybe someone out there has a more positive perspective but in my humble opinion if you want a trike, do it right.

Glad she is ok .
I am in the process of adding a Voyager right now.
The few trips I have taken have not produced any of the symptoms you mentioned.
This is an interesting read.

RE: MTC Voyager Trike Kit failure
I have an 883c 2006 that the Voyager is installed on.
I need to ask, how come the pic you show it looks like the bike is on it's
kickstand ?
Did the belly bracket brake ?
By any chance , did you increase the final sprocket size on the bike and
keep the original rear belt ? I must have 1/8 inch between the receiver and
the muffler bracket. I could see how the mentioned combination might let
this happen and ? squeak.
How come you did not paint the parts/nuts black like it says to in the
manual ?
Did you do that tightening inspection of the parts like it says to in the
manual ? Like every 500 miles I believe.
Did you have a fork brace and a steering stabilizer on the bike also ?
I'm glad your wife didn't get hurt. To date I am lovin the voyager on mine.
