04-06 Brake light bulb

Is that a 3157? I am going to order a red led bulb. Thanks

no there was talk about the bulb in another forum. 3157 for the tail lamp, 1157 for the front signals, and 1156 for the rear signals, the 1157 tail lamp was for earlier bikes

I took mine out and it is a 3157, 1157 should be the typical round base correct? 3157 is the push in type. I have tried the 9 led red bulb last night, it is worse than stock regular bulb, like Christmas light, know what I mean? I am not impressed. [:@]

Yep the 1157 is the standard 2 filament round base.
