Question XR1200 exhaust fit a Nightster?

Will it fit without any major modifications?

Not too sure , but all the exhaust listings I've ever seen stated "all except XR models"
I would have to think the mounting bracket setup is different on the XR bikes.
If I could just steal a set , I'd try it for giggles , but I don't mind a bit of fabrication now and then.

should be an issue. you'll just need to fab up a hanger for the rear portion.

If you mean the stock system this is a side view of an XR. It will probably fit your bike, however there is the small matter of where you put your right footrest and rear brake!

Yes but you will need to make two brackets. One at the rear. Any strap steel with a hole for a bolt at one end and a hole at the top to bolt on the rear fender brace. The second one in the same manner.

I did it on the XR itself as the front bracket serves as a overly heavy passenger peg and I set the bike up solo. The end cast bracket was also too heavy. I used long handled wrenches and cut the ends off. Chromemoly (sp) is tough to drill.

Thanks for the replies I realized that the mount for the foot controls would be blocked by the pipes. Looks like I'd have to put rear sets on where my passenger pegs are. Not worth the trouble. I was looking for a cheaper alternative to D&D bobcat or RSD slant 2 into 1.
