This is NOT an upgrade
I fellow Sportster riders.
I'm just back from my local dealer and I made a super great deal trading in my super cool 1200 for a 2015 Softail Slim Limited edition. The one with the matte 2-tone paint job.
Should be ready in 2 to 3 weeks after all mods are installed. I'm looking at a matte black Remus exhaust system, side-bag, small black luggage rack, custom made lowered windshield, Daymaker and K&N & Supertuner to get me started.
I do not consider this an upgrade but rather a completely different ride that better suits my riding style and the 103 engine is a nice extra touch
Anyway, will post pics as soon as I have the beast and I will continue to visit the Sportster forum as my partner will be riding her 883 anyways. And because this is a great forum!
I'm happy!

Well, the mods I could have done myself but it's part of the deal and it has to be ordered anyway. I want a lower windshield so the stock 18" shield will be changed for me using a hot wire and lots of polishing. Also part of the package.
As far as the super deal is concerned you're gonna be laughing when you realize how expensive the Netherlands are. I paid €13,500 plus for €2,000 accessories plus loads of mods later on. Total spent on the sporty about 19k. But I get 14.500 back for it. Considering the bike is 2,5 years old, is due for maintenance plus tires in a month this is seriously good. However, the slim plus a bunch of mods will set me back 27,500 so...
