all, i have a 2014 seventy two and see a pigtail that is very similar to that of a battery tender. i assume we can plug in to that with a bat. tender or usb charger etc?

We can "assume" anything and it is likely a tender connection, but a picture is worth a thousand words, or you could at least tell us what this pigtail is connected to.

Battery tender connectors are not installed at the factory, but they are added by many dealers when the bike is setup so the battery can be kept charged while it's on the showroom floor.

Harley started including Battery Tenders on 2014 Sportsters.
Your dealer should have included the charger with the owners manual.

I've got a usb charger for mine as well as heated gloves I can plug into it. Also a battery tender.

even "dummer" you misspelled dumb and for the record, no manual with the bike, they want customers to source it online.

Someone fed you a line of bullshit and you ate it. The Mother company still provides owners manuals with new bikes. Good luck getting anymore advice after your dumb comment reply.

My 2014 1200T indeed came with a charging pigtail. I did not get a Battery Tender with the bike; had to buy it as an accessory. Hmmm.

I use the tender during the week when I am not riding; hopefully this will prolong the battery life.
