Wondering if you have one hooked up to your Iron?

 

I have one on my Iron. Real easy to use. Their map for my setup gave me a bit of decel pop, but an Autotune session has my Iron running great now.

 

No my bike is a 2013 and the FP3s don't fit the earlier bikes, so I went the powervision route.

 

Yeah man, I was like WTF
I don't see any available for the 2012 883SL

 

The FP3 only goes on bikes with the 6 pin diagnostic plug. If yours is a 4 pin you cant fit one. I really wanted auto tune function so had to spring for the powervision which was a shed load more money but i have to say the difference in my bike after a few auto tuning sessions is incredible, so I now dont regret having to spend the extra money.

 

Gonna see if there's a 6 pin adapter for it. Had to do that with a seventy two 2014 yr model when I bought the Cobra pro
They just sent the pin adapter for free.

Just got my FP3 today and was wondering, can I flash a tune with just a
DK outlaw filter fitted and standard HD pipes.also do I need to oil the filter or is it ok out of the box.

Hi there Michnig, to answer your query, the FP3 doesn't differentiate between Air Cleaners, it just looks at them all as hi flow intakes. I had a very similar question so I emailed Vance & Hines. This is their response..

"Yes, the FP3 will work with your stock setup as well. As you upgrade, you can just add/adjust the map in the app as you go.
