Question Heel-toe shifter for Sportster

I have a slightly hosed left ankle, sometimes have trouble shifting and have to lift my whole foot. Its not always but often enough. Was looking at workarounds and found this:

http://www.biker-direct.com/forward-...-shifter-lever

Doesn't really look like it will fit, not enough curve to get around the derby cover but not sure. Anyone tried one?

Don't think it will work for forward controls.

Same here, left side, too. I have the mid left hand peg, bracket and shift lever for my 1200C, gotta get the other side and I'll put mids on. This might work for me then. Sure is easier for me with the heel/toe on the Glide. I just can't get an angle that works good for me with forwards, miss a shift occasionally. Thanks for the link, haven't run into one of these before.

One thing is proving trickier than expected. This thing requires 5/16-18 shift pegs, everything seems to be 5/16-24. Anyone know where I can get some fairly cheap pegs in 5/16-18?

This has, at least for now, fallen through. The "company" i tried to buy it from (Biker-Direct) is apparently a scam. No ship, no response, disputing charge now.

Sportster heel/toe shifters are available on ebay, for mid controls.

From our Friends at DK Customs http://www.dkcustomproducts.com/Rock...-RK-IT-POL.htm

http://www.dkcustomproducts.com/images/RockItShift.jpg Sorry, looks like it is for forwards. Might check into possible mods.
