Default Mini apes on 05 XL883L

Looking for 10" mini apes for my 05 883L. Ideally something like what comes stock on the Seventy Two. Has anyone purchased these anywhere? I know I also need cable extensions, brake lines, etc. Also would like to relocate turn signals to the forks. Having trouble finding what I'm looking for.

scoot - I'm in the same boat.
New-to-me 05 XL883L & I'm really not comfortable with the stock bars.
(Too low, too narrow, & put my wrists at an odd angle.)
I'd love to get them changed out (winter project if not sooner).

I think I've read that 10" mini-apes can be done without cable mods.
I believe the Seventy Two's bars may be higher than that?

So far, I'm leaning towards the HD baby apes #56079-93.
These may be a little smaller than the 10" mini's though?
(I believe that there are also a few outside mfg's that have a copy of that bar - like Khrome Werks & JP Cycle)
I think that these can be swapped without any mods to cables.

I too would love to find some more definitive (1st hand) info & pictures on this type of mod.

On my '14 I did have to do new cables with the mini apes.

10000x more comfortable though, definitely something I recommend on Sporties.

I'm 5'6, FWIW

Exactly my issue. Hate the angle my wrists are in when riding. Plus, I'm 6'-1".

I just put 10" mini apes on my 1988 Hugger - -came with "buckhorns". My throttle cables were shot so I replaced with "+6" cables. No problem with the clutch cable, but the electric cables have to cut the corner at the bottom but they are on there. Brake hose "just" fits. Planning on adding a couple inches to the wiring when I do some mods this winter.

My suggestion would be to do a chat with J&P, they fixed me up after I ordered the wrong cables the first time, knew right what I needed for my bike.

These were the bars I installed:

Love em, I'm 6' and they fit me well, definite improvement over the buckhorns. I'm changing to Forward controls this weekend, and wondering if I shouldn't have gone with 12's though.

Scoot - Also 6'-1" here.
CZshooter or anybody else - Can you post any pics of your bars on the bike? Even better would be pics of riders to see arm/hand position!

Stopped by the local HD dealer yesterday to pick something up & they had a the #56079-93 bars on a rack. Definitely seem to be what I'm looking for with much better wrist angle (I want my knuckles almost 90 deg to my wrist). Just not 100% sure how the rise would be.
CZshooter - you're saying you wish you went with 12" apes?
