Interesting sporty!

Nice job on this. Haven't seen calipers mounted forward of the forks for many years! I guess that's a nod to the 60s! I assume that's a custom exhaust?

I like that a lot, I think we'll be seeing more of this type coming out of the Harley line reaching the younger generation. Sure would like a ride on that bike....

I thought they were roland sands pipes, but the front most pipe has a different path

One of the better looking 2-1 I've seen... I've always loved cafe bikes and my cb400 cafe was one of my fave bikes out of the 25 or so I've owned over the years..

Very nice!

Are cafe racers with forward controls a thing? I don't know if I've seen one before.

Not really, but they may have had no other choice with the build because of the pipes.

Nope, not seen a cafe bike with forwards - most of them try to get the rear sets as far BACK as possible.

I really like it though - nice find Mr T.

They have been building early mono shock Viragos (cough metric cruiser) v-twins into cafe bikes too.

Cafe racers have their origins over here in the UK, where the word 'racer' is the key - they are modelled after race bikes, such as were raced on the Isle of Man at the TT. A relative of ours, Harold Clark, won BSA's first Clubman's TT on a Gold Star in 1949, which was the start of the fame and style of road bike based 'racers'. Difficult to race around the TT course feet first...... :icon_frown:
