'14-'15 Forty Eight speedo relocate
Has anyone with a '14-'15 Forty Eight done a speedo relocate where they separated the indicator and the gauge?
I'm trying to find out what type of work I will have to do to make the wires long enough to separate them. Indicators on the triple tree and the gauge on the side.
Is it cutting and splicing or is there a plug and play extension?
Thanks in advance.

UPDATE: Using DK customs speedo relocate. I've purchased a lot of stuff from DK, but this is the first piece that I'm not satisfied with.
I don't understand why all the extension pieces are necessary. Who would want their speedo sticking out so far that you can't use your left side mirror?
I opted to mount the bracket on the INSIDE of the tank lift mod per the instructions. This places the speedo exactly where I want it and still allows me use the left side mirror.
HOWEVER......with the speedo bracket mounted on the INSIDE of the tank lift, the handlebars cannot go full lock turning left without hitting the speedo bracket!!
It barely hits it....but that sucks. After playing with it for about 30 minutes, I decided I will take the bracket off and dremel the hole wider so I can mount the bracket back about 2mm so the forks can fully clock to the left.
I hope this works....
Also gonna cut and splice wire tomorrow for the indicator lights. Just venting... I'll keep you posted.
