What did you use to remove the tank paint?
Did you treat it after you removed the paint or just letting it rust?

I used paint stripper from a yellow aerosol can I got form ACE Hardware (Can't remember the name)

I had to apply that about 3 times, scraping the paint and clear coat off each time in between sprays.

Then I finished it off with a wire wheel on a power drill. It added some swirls to it which I didn't mind...but you could always go over it in a directional motion with some sandpaper.

Currently it's uncoated...It gets some surface rust and I just hit it with sandpaper again to eliminate some of that. I heard WD40 helps prevent the rusting, but I've just been too lazy to try that.

Not sure if I'll clear coat over it or paint it at some point

Since winter has arrived in the Chicago-land area, I've taken time to do some things.

I did a wire tuck, so really no wires are shown near the or around the engine, except for the gas lines and what not. Here's a before and after:

I also picked up some solid brass grips, pegs, and headlight bezel. Not sure that i like the seat and tank with hints of brass now, so I'm taking time to think about replacing them or not.

Here you can see where I relocated the ignition for extra-stealthness

Very clean bike, awesome job

Can you give more details on the ignition relocation, it looks very stealthy.?
