Tail Light Issues
 

Hello there, I have been running into some issues with my tail light.

Im running the TC bros shock mounted license plate / tail light rig with hard tail struts. I have put 3 different lights on it and they all end up not working within a few days. I have attempted to fix the issues myself, but have had no success. Their customer support has been great and they've sent me a few different lights. But at some point I need to figure out why they never work out. The first two i had the wiring just completely detached, which made me think it was a manufacture error. But the one i have now the wiring is fully intact and just not working. All of my soldering has been strong and there was never any pressure or tension on the cables.

Is there a secret to running a tail light on a hard tail for more than a few days? I'm getting pretty frustrated. Thanks in advance for the help.

get some photos of the issue - wires just dont break off - im guessing the light bulb itself is burning out - get an led bulb and see what happens - it wont shake and burn out

without pix no1 knows what it looks like or the issue - did u try a meter to see if its all working without the bulb?

+1 on at least testing the bulb. Napa sells heavy duty filament bulbs right off the shelf, if LED's aren't handy. I found TC Bros really cool people deal with and I like their gear. I don't know how you hardtail guys do it, and still love it, but its all good. And hey here's a big Welcome to you.
