Default Super Sport Windshield on 2015 1200c

Took a little tweaking but installed Super Sport Windshield and front turn signal relocation meant for a 1200x on my wife's 1200c today. I think it looks good. She loves it so I'm happy about that.

Good job. I have that exact windshield on my 2007 XL1200C, since last summer. I also had to relocate the turns to the fork, otherwise easy. it's rock solid, and I have it on almost all the time. I'll probably remove it once the warm weather arrives. I like being able to remove it without any hardware left on the bike.

Just a tip, looking at yours again. I found that mounting the shield as low as possible provided the least wind buffeting. I am 6'0" tall, and I thought mounting it higher would be better, but that made it worse.

I won't be riding it. I'll let her decide. Thanks for the tip. I'll pass it along.

Most buffeting comes from under the shield and is directed up by the gas tank.
I've replaced both bikes windshields with Clearview Shields. They are direct fit to OEM, but are cut a little wider and longer at the bottom. No more buffeting on either bike even without lowers. It may be time to.order a stubby custom shield for summer.
