Lowering bike?

Got sportster 1200 sport for my ol lady, great bike - problem is too high for her. Tried lowering block - still seem too high.. Cried inside and ordered burley slammers.. supposedly they will help. But now front. It has awesome cartridges, but it also means not much play with height. I can drop trees inch or so, but with 3" drop on the back 1" on the front probably will not be enough?
So here's dilemma : it is awesome bike, I got it for a good price - pretty much sure I can sell it and make some $$. Should I do it and by some Low model, or try to lower bike and save shocks (and possibly cartridges) - for later when she's comfortable enough or when I decide to sell?

Also, is there good place to get shorter jiffy stand? (JPCeycles and ebay are obvious options)

After the Burly Slammers add a progressive front end kit. Should be perfect for her. As for a smaller jiffy I'm not sure other than JP and ebay. DK Customs might have something though

can just add the burly slammers in the rear. drops the bike about 3". she should be good with those to get both feet down. im 5'3" and it worked for me. you will scrape the kickstand and exhaust on some turns though but the slammers work well... just a little bit stiffer of a ride. also if shes too short... can always just come to a stop and do the one foot down one foot up thing

i also got this kickstand but havent installed it yet... its about 1" shorter. for now the bike doesnt lean as much with the stock jiffy but i watch where i park it so it doesnt tip over. i hear installing them is a PITA

man.. you could have totally gotten away with some shocks off of an iron and a progressing drop-in lowering kit for like 100 bucks.

it's not to late to cancel that order. use that money on some worthwhile mods. i wouldn't sweat the jiffy for now.

Will the shocks from Iron fit? I don't know why, but something is changed, and 04+ I think is different. I had Iron but don't remember stock height - is it 12? we measured yesterday and looks like w/o heels she needs 10.5, 11 max

Also, those forks have cartridges, so can't drop in springs. Found forks from hugger w/ internals for 200..

Yeah that's what I ordered. Did you drop front at all?

well... those shocks on there now... let's talk about their future and my dyna. pm me your demands.

There was discussion about it - they not good for dyna, maybe will work on FXR.. I'm planning to keep them for now. It's dope bike, if I don't keep it - will restore to stock and sell. I'd put them on my dyna if they fit :) My cheapo ohlins don't have compression or rebound on em
