So I have been shopping exhaust for my nightster for about a month. Just this last week i decided that I really prefer the sound of a 2 into 1 pipe. I was going to put on the Rush 2.25" baloney cut slip on but prefer the sound of the 2 into 1. I have forward controls so I am having trouble finding a pipe that will fit. I am really hoping to get a Vance and Hines and if not a Rineheart pipe. If anyone has any suggestions or solutions they would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and happy ridin.

 

If I recall correctly there are only a couple of 2 into 1 that will fit with forward controls, Thunderheader being one of them, of course I was shopping for a 94. Good luck.

 

I am in the same boat. I will likely dink around with the stock exhaust first then maybe do something else.

hello, i have purchased a V&H pro pipe for my 01 sporty with forward controls and did not come close to fitting... they do have that same pipe for 04 or 06 and newer sportster cant remember...
super trap used to make one but no longer do.. good luck searching for one....
i purchased a thunderheader and it fits like a glove.... they come chrome or if you choose black...
i love the way it sounds....denis kirk sells them...
those are the only ones for my bike...i hope this helps
