Even a fancy tire changer won't help when the tire bead doesn't want to seat. That's another reason I put something in the tire for a day or two to expand it. Air pressure really helps, too. A few years ago my compressor finally gave up, and went from a 120psi compressor to 200; wow, most tires since just pop right on. Another thing is having a free flow air chuck, that doesn't have the tip inside to push the valve stem valve down. I took an ordinary cheap air chuck, removed the tip, and drilled it out as large as I dared. With the valve out of the stem, that really blows them up quick. Then put the valve back in the stem, use a normal air chuck, good to go. The exception was that skinny 21" on my 1200C, had to cinch it down with a ratchet strap before even my air setup would seat the beads - and as soon as the tire takes air, I let off and remove the straps, don't want any shrapnel flying if the ratchet can't handle the pressure.
