So I bought a Superlow 883 last month and been enjoying the heck out of it. One of the few things that I have been wondering about is maybe installing handlebars that don't come back quite as much and would allow me to lean slightly forward a bit more while on the highway. The Iron 883 bars that Harley sells look like the perfect size and the price isn't bad. Has anyone tried these on a Superlow? Could any Iron 883 owners let me know how they like their bars?


Also, I would prefer chrome bars and the iron's bars are black from Harley, has anyone had success with chroming handle bars? A quick internet search found a few shops willing to do it for around $50. I figured I could try the bars first and if I liked them, then pay to have them chromed over the winter.


I would also be open to any suggestions forum members might have for other brands that may fit my needs. Thanks!

 

There are polished stainless steel bars in 1" diameter available in several styles, have you thought about getting stainless steel bars?

I also have 21 XL883N and was gifted some 4in risers and I going to need a wiring kit with the OEM bars????
