Default Stock 2016 Roadster: Andrews N4 vs N8 Bolt-in Cams

I'm considering the Andrews N4 and N8 cams for my stock 2016 roadster. Does anyone here have experience with either or both?

Those cams are designed for the 91-03 bikes. Been around for years! Thumbs down on a rubbermount bike IMHO !!!

Drop in a set of cams made for the newer heads. Maybe a chicken grind or better yet IMHO a set of 570 hammer cams. Designed for exactly what you are looking for!

The stock cams you have now aren't bad at all, but don't go backwards with the Andrews

Color me interested in this discussion, but with nothing to contribute right now.

I would probably want the N8 for the slightly higher lift, and they both appear perfectly street friendly. Again, I have no exp with this.
I've ridden an 06 Roadster with the SE 550's and it was a dog under 3500, everyone blamed that on the HSR42 though which is accurate. Once you hit 4K it was a monster, though.

I guarantee it was not the Mikuni carburetter causing that issue guaranteed if it was it's because it was not tuned correctly guaranteed

Talking

Harley has a set of SE upgrade cams as do Hammer, who have a lot of customers in here! I can't help thinking that to get the best of such an upgrade you should consider other work first, or at the same time as changing cams. I'm sure a phone call to Hammer will be of great interest and very worthwhile! We love to help other members spend their money in here!

I'm not 100% confident, but I'm pretty sure you will lose some lower/midrange power with the n4, 6 or 8
