Default Sportster "Special Edition"

I saw this CL ad, and I was not aware that HD did 100 run Special Edition bikes. So I've come to the Sportster threads to get some input from Sportster experts. Anyone have any info on very limited run Special Edition bikes? Thanks.

I would guess it is more of a special paint set from the MoCo instead of a Special Edition.

Just a paint set, nothing more.

I'd want to see the original tins undamaged. That "limited edition" paint set may be the result of a pretty good crash. As stated, that bike didn't come like that, so there's a deception right from the start.

It's just a custom paint set from MoCo. Some of the sets were done via a trade-in from your old tins. Some were an outright purchase.

I would say it adds very little added extra value. Maybe $250 more than whatever fair value is. And that's only because it's a Factory set of tins.
