Default Wife is taking my bike!

I got the approval to get another bike with the condition that my wife is taking my Sportster. This may be the wrong forum to ask this question but what would you buy? I love my Sportster for cruising around town but it's not the most comfortable on longer rides. I don't like the look of the touring bikes so what is the happy medium?

Your lucky, My wife wouldn't even look at the sportsters... She wanted a Softail Deluxe.

Was that a subtle "softail's are for women" comment?

Dyna is the way to go. Handles as good as a sportster around town but the added weight makes it more stable on the highway. I'd take conventional shocks over a softail any day.

Wish my wife would take my wide glide so I could buy a new Road King. Problem is that she don't ride.
