rear fender rub

my 03 sportster is stretched and lowered and the rear tire is rubbing the fender. i did not go up in tire size or anything and when i put a shorty fender on it does not rub. the work was done before i purchased the bike so im not 100% sure what exactly was done but can give it my best if anyone needs more info to try to help. thanks

shocks too short, but it looks good............measure length eye to eye or see if it has lowering blocks on bottom shock mount, then either get longer shocks o remove blocks if installed.

If you can adjusting the shocks stiffer might be a temporary help/fix

Thanks I'll have to try those suggestions in the coming days I don't believe I've seen the lowering blocks on it but will check just to be safe!

i did not ahve the chance to measure it as i couldnt find the tape measure but i can say i have established they are progressive shocks and are shorter than the stock shocks as i found the stock shocks in the bottom of a "parts" box that was provided with the bike over the weekend. that being said i do not see a way to adjust the progressives.

all signs are pointing to just buying shorty stocks that are adjustable or just stiff out of the box..

post a pic of the shocks installed. maybe someone will recognize them and can verify if they can be adjusted or not. Unless of course, you have money burning a hole in your pocket......................

Definitely don't want to spend money that could be spent somewhere else. I will post pictures when I have a chance. I leave the bike at my buddies place since he has more room than I currently do

If it just barely rubs on hard bumps id just roll with it!

Update

This is what I'm working with but I have decided to go hard tail and a solo springer seat instead it will give it the look I want and ultimately solve my run issue as well
