Well, as I mentioned in an earlier post - the battery cover on my 07 flew off last weekend at about 80mph and got bounced around by a truck or two.

I was able to bend and hammer it out enough to use it but it looks like crap.

So I'm looking for a used battery cover in vivid black for an 04+. They had one on Ebay but I got outbid. If anyone has one to sell or knows a good source please PM me. Thanks!

I called the dealer about this problem and they told me that it isn't a problem.They also said they won't fix my front brake light under warranty because I changed the grips myself.Good dealer that Gattos in Tarentum Pa.Good luck I cable tied mine on after it came loose a zillion times.Maybe that is my fault also.I'll check around for you though maybe I can find one that didn't fall off yet.

 

Got the original one off of my bike. Assuming the black is vivid black, my bike is cobalt blue but the covers were black. I replaced them with chrome ones when I got home. Cover was on the bike for about 15 miles. Shoot me a PM with your specifics and we can barter price.

 

All the stock covers are vivid black.
