as topic , Has anyone fitted forward controls or highway pegs on their 16 roadster

I feel that the riding position on the roadster is a bit akward for them longer trips but i dont want to get forward controls since i like the mid controls when riding active.

 

Fitted high way pegs on my bike. Looks like **** but is really comfy for cruising
Maybe I should install smaller pegs and paint everything black..

I just use the H-D mustache engine guard with the rubber cushion on the lower part. Then I don't need to buy highway pegs. Just put my feet on it or stretch my legs over it. Works great on long tours.

 

Look at DK customs mounting options. You can put highway pegs on anything. I have them on my FZ-1. They are Softtail takeoffs, I tell anyone on a Harley I started upgrading the engine and thing got out of control. I only use them on long days, 1000miles, and I only use them to stretch for a few minutes every couple of hours. If you get them in black with black mounts you will not see them folded up at 10 feet and 80mph.
