Anyone know where the speed sensor is located on. 2003 883 sportster? I'm trying to do a quick repair (it's too damn cold)

 

Found it. But curse those evil engineers. Especially since I hear this is a common problem.

anyone have any tips for an easy removal?

theres a screwdriver set at harbor freight that has a bendable link and hex bits. I might try that...

 

Ball end hex, the long kind. Should be able to get a good enough reach to break it loose.
