Default Re-mapping

My '07 sportster has a k&n air filter and Vance and Hines slip ons as well as a dynojet power commander 3. The previous owner of the bike had those on it and also gave me a set of 2 into 1 twisted choppers pipes and a smaller round air cleaner that he had on the bike at one time or another. I really want to put those on my bike but am not sure if I would need to re-map the power commander or not. I called 3 different local bike shops to get their opinions and one shop didn't know for sure, one said I wouldn't need to re-map, and the third shop said that I would need to re-map. Just wanted to get the opinions of some people on this forum who may have experience with this. Thanks

Short answer is a remap would be needed to match the afr to that pipe. But the bike might run fine with the current map. But it would not be a match to that pipe so it could be lean or rich. Dyno tune is the best option rather then canned maps.

Ok thanks! I guess that re-mapping would be the best thing to do to be sure, but I was hoping to save some money by not having to do that.
