Increasing GC in Superlow
#2
Hi from the UK and welcome to HDF. I also have a SuperLow, bought new in 2011. You will have difficulty increasing by that much.
I used taller rear shocks to raise the rear of my bike by an inch or so, Hagons about 330mm long. What I found with my forks is that when I sit on the bike they settled over half of their total travel. By using spacers above the springs I raised the forks by over an inch. My bike is now a 'Super-not-so-Low', but not as tall as you ask for.
It would be possible to use even taller rear shocks, also there are longer fork tubes with which to rebuild the front forks, but I think you will struggle to get as much as 2".
