Default Floorboards

Anybody ever ran floorboards on their sporty? More interested in the full floorboards, but also interested in info on the minis. Just wondering how comfortable they were on this bike. I have an 04 1200.

My 883 had mini boards on forward controls, and I couldn't find a comfortable angle that didn't try lifting my feet by 60mph. You'd think pegs would be worse, but I've never had a wind problem with pegs. If you have mid pegs, a flat floorboard is nice, no foot lifting issues; I have them on my Tour Glide, and I doubt the type of bike would make much difference. I have a heel-toe shifter on the Glide, to get enough room to get my boot toe under the shift peg, it's too high to downshift without lifting my foot.

So the minis are probably a no go since I have forward controls. I see plenty of full floorboards for sell for forward controls, but I don't know if it's even possible to get flat footed on them with forward controls. Thanks for the input.

Kuryakan mini floor boards work great with forwards.

I have a set of HD 4" mini floorboards for sale....they're a in between pegs and full floorboards...comfort without the odd look of floorboards. I had them on forward controls too. I have a video of them in the "sportster video" thread if you're interested
