Rear turn signal removal or 2014 iron 883
So i feel a bolt behind the fender but it is so close to a lip back there I can't seem to be able to find any tool to use to remove it. Is there a trick to it? I bought Vikings bags that enable me to not have to relocate my turning lights but i need to be able to put a part in between the fender and the bracket right where the light bolts on.

on my 2016 48 I had to unbolt the shocks and jack up the bike to get enough room to access back there, it was still pretty difficult.
I installed the same bags as you.
If I had to do it over again I'd remove the rear wheel.
Also I had to get longer bolts for the turn signals, once I added the little bracket the bolts ended up being too short.

I have a 2012 Sportster Iron and just went through the rear turn signal relocation. Not trivial to say the least and the instructions are minimal, much room for improvement. There are tabs under the rear fender that the stock wires clip into. Once removed I had to cut the existing wire and add on about 18 inches of new wire (not included in kit). The new wire would not fit into the clips as it was larger than stock, so used a zip tie clip to secure the wire to the fender tabs. The whole process is clumsy and you're left to fill in the blanks as you go. Disappointed that Viking didn't supply better instructions.
Having gone through this if you're not a mechanic or at least have a full set of tools with more experienced help available I'd let a shop do the signal relocation. Next step for me is to attach the bags, hoping it will be the easy part
BTW 14IronCross your 48 looks great, nice work.
