Mileage with 1275
I am considering converting my 2014 Iron to a 1275. My only hesitation is a significant loss in real world fuel mileage. As it stands now, I have already done a stage 1 and am quite happy with Betty's performance. She does pretty much anything I ask of her including two up riding with my daughter on the back (to be fair she only weighs 70 lbs) and I average 50-52 mpg which is important with only having 3.3 gal to work with.
Reading through my post it sounds like I don't necessarily need the 1275, but honestly part of my considering to do the 1275 is just because I love turning a wrench on Betty and making improvements.
Anyone have some real world fuel mileage after the conversion?

On my 2002 I average better mileage as a 1250 than I did an 883. I upped the gearing to be more towards the 1200 than original. It's in the 45-50 range consistently (47.8mpg today actually) and a high of 53 in perfect conditions.
Doesnt peak as high as my 883 did but I would say I do average better overall by having more power and higher gearing. It's more suited to my style.
