Default Road King/Street Glide Shocks For 04 XL883C - Help Please

Folks, I'm trying to figure out which is the best air shock to mount on my 04 XL883C. I read a thread on here where someone used a Street Glide shock with the part number 54662-02A. All the examples of that shock I can find are in black and I need chrome shocks for mine.

I don't want to alter the height of the bike by more than half an inch either way, so am really looking for a shock that comes in at 11", 11.5" or 12", preferably 11.5".

Could anyone please advise me of the best shock (Road King/Street Glide or other) and it's part number based on the above info?

Many thanks in advance for your input.

Search ebay. Just search "harley chrome air shocks" and there are a few vendors selling what you're looking for. A lot of the vendors will also specify what length the shocks are eye-to-eye.

I personally use Street Glide shocks on my bike, but they're black.

Thanks BB but there are a bunch of aftermarket mixed in with OEM shocks and I have no idea which work with my bike and which don't. I'm after hearing from some of the folks who use OEM air shocks from other Harleys on their Sportsters. The other reason I'm after specific model numbers is I'm UK based and there are very few listings over here. I may have to search elsewhere outside of eBay and for that I'm going to need the right codes.
