Got a new 2017 48...
I had one for a year the first year they came out. Funnest bike ever! Traded it in and got my Street Glide, but very much missed the Sportster.
Well, i just paid off the SG and decided to do some thing totally irrational - add a 48 to the stable. Lol
Got the exact color I wanted and the dealer gave a $1k gift card with purchase!
Now my mind is racing with what i want to do to it... he he

I've pondered the idea of adding a RK to the stable - along side my Nightster. But I have to wonder if one bike would end up not being used much.

i hear ya. Same thoughts here. Im sure the 48 will get most of my time, since i mainly tool around locally (and the bike is waaaay more fun than the SG!)

Congrats !
Beautiful original paint job. Hopefully you are not going to do any custom paint on that gas tank :-)
Among all the cruisers that I've taken out for a test ride, larger and small, the Sportster was the most fun to ride.

Congrats Sarge - great looking bike.
I think I know your postings from a drum forum too.
Harley and Ludwig - can't do better than those.
