Default Rekluse Core EXP 3.0 Clutch

I am thinking about purchasing the Rekluse auto clutch for my Sporty and was wondering if anyone is using one.

Here is a link to the part: https://rekluse.com/product/core-exp-3-0-clutch-hd/

I fractured my wrist in two places in a non-motorcycle accident. It has been 8 weeks since I got on the saddle. Last week, I installed a Muller Power Clutch which made clutch operation a lot easier bringing the friction range closer to the handlebar but I am still concern when I get stuck in stop and go traffic.

I read that there is no need for clutch when slowing, stopping, and accelerating. Shifting is normal but no need to pull clutch in stop and go traffic, just use throttle....that would be heaven.

Any insight and comments are appreciated. Thanks

I've been using them with my dirt bikes for years now. Fantastic device. Clutch still works as per normal, but the benefits for you would be huge.

They can take a bit of time to adjust just right. But once they are set it's quite maintenance free.

Thank you, very encouraging and I will need it for $800 just for the part Plus labor to get it installed....I'll let the professionals adjust it just right.

Thanks for the input.

Same here. I used a Rekluse on the last two dirt bikes I had. They work great. Only issue with one of my dirt bikes was the big “pain in the ***” trying to pop start the darn thing when the battery was dead.

I don’t have one on my harley yet, but I’ve ridden a Road Glide with a Rekluse. You’ll love it

Thanks....and how was the Road Glide with the Rekluse? Better low speed maneuvering?

With respect to dead battery and pop starting....hopefully I never get into that situation. I always carry an Antigravity power supply XP3 and I monitor voltage on my PV.

I hyper extended a couple of my fingers on my left hand and stretched the heck out of the tendons. I couldn't pull my clutch in at all. These hand exercisers helped me get back to normal. I have a 15% stronger spring plate and it doesn't bother me at all now. A lot cheaper too. You may have already tried something like these. I'm just giving alternatives.

Thanks for the link...just ordered a pair. I had one but it was the old fashion kind...not adjustable.

Everyone I spoke with regarding the Rekluse clutch said it is great. Even my lead mechanic said it is great as long as it is installed/adjusted properly. So I ordered one today and opened an RO at the dealership with my mechanic.

Just spoke with my mechanic - 2 hours labor...not bad. Parts cost a lot more than the labor.
