Default 1" lower jiffy stand for 08 Roadster

So I put 12" progressive 412 shocks on my bike, and i love it, except:
When Im on it, I can lean it over maybe 3-4 degrees and the jiffystand will come up.
However, 2up, its like 10-15 degrees before I can put it down or up.
I bought a '1200L' kick stand but then im leaning 20-22 degrees when i get off it. doesnt even touch the ground 2 up.
I measured mine, and that one. Seems from the Pivot to the bend, the Low is 7" and mine is 10".
So I think a 8.5-9" would be good. give me just enough room to put it down without having to lean over the bike the 'wrong way' 2 up, and still wouldnt 'fall over' the other way once its down.
However, Finding the length of which part number or item seems impossible. Ive been looking all summer and cannot seem to figure out whats what.
from what Ive found, i THINK the 1200R has an 'extended' kickstand due to the normal 13" shocks. then there is an 8" 'standard' on the custom, nightster, ect, and a 7" on the "low". but cannot confirm.
Figured id turn to the experts...
anyone have details, and know what I should look for the ebay, marketplace, or new that will fit?

From http://partsfinder.onlinemicrofiche..../showmodel.asp, these are the three part numbers for the different jiffys of the 2008 sportsters:

50238-08BHP about $115.49 list price
50185-04A about $172.49 list price
49722-08BHP about $186.49 list price

Thats one inch under stock, which i believe to be the 'Low' or 7" model.

Right, but theres no description of what each is. The roadster is 49722-08BHP, and the Low and custom is 50185-04A, but what length is the 50238-08BHP from the Nightster?

Ugh, now Im reading that the Custom is the mid length and the nightster is the shortest of the models. link to the darkside
Which links to this post about a 05 Custom being ~8.5" (although in chrome)
2005 Custom
but that PN in Ronnies part finder is... 50185-04A

Yes my XL1200L has the 50185-04 part and it is 8.5". I also have a spare jiffy from an 07 XL1200R (49722-07BHP) that is about 10.5". Judging by the price differences, I would then guess that 50238-08BHP is the shortest.

so I must have gotten the Nightster off of ebay then, as thats 7" but i ordered the part from the '1200 Low'.
well lets hope this one works. if this one is 8.5" is should be just about perfect

I'm sure it'll work. My 1200L is raised using 1200R rear shocks and front dampers. I am still using the 8.5" jiffy and the bike leans a wee bit too much when unladen on its side. But it's too minor for me to change. I did buy the 1200R jiffy but was too lazy to do the swap. Plus, with a 2-up load, I didn't want a jiffy that might be a problem since the bike squats much more with 2 people on.
