Default 2015 xl1200T

My, new to me, 2015 XL1200T (Super Low "Touring") has HD installed "forward controls". It is my understanding that the bike came stock from the factory with "mid controls". I actually prefer "mids" but am now confused (nothing new) about my choices for "mids" as it appears that there are 1. "mids", 2. "more forward mids" and 3. "Forward" controls available.

Here's the question: can I replace the "forwards" with 1. "mids" or must I select the 2. "more forward mids"? Bike has stock exhaust.

Seems like I can pick up some "mids" for cheap, but the "more forward Mids" come at a premium.

Thanks.

Wink

You can check what your stock 'mids' were on-line here, which may help you decide.
