How do I fit a 103 in a 2011 XL1200X?

Default How do I fit a 103 in a 2011 XL1200X?

Was gifted an S&S modified 103 and drive-train and want to know if there is ANY way to fit it in an XL1200 Frame?

The simple answer, no, it won't come close to fitting.
But then with the right skills, welding, cutting, etc, almost anything's possible. But it won't be anything close to a Sporty frame when you're done.

I suppose the answer should be yes - but only with a great deal of determination and effort! Not to mention a well-equipped workshop and a sackful of the right skills. But then if you had all that lot I suspect you would be posting photos of how you're getting on.......

But I give way to cHarley as he is probably closer to the truth than me!

That would be fun to ride....and a lot of work to get it ride-able!

Sell that 103 and put the money into your 1200...you'll be happy you did. Not to mention a hell of a lot easier

Sell it and get a dyna or upgrade your sporty. However, a part of me would love to see that beast.

A Hot street 1250/1275 would curb stomp that 103” haha
