I drilled a couple big holes in my baffles, didn't make much difference. Save yourself the headache and save up for a set of slip-ons. my2cents

I removed the mufflers, took a metal pipe about 1" to 1.25" (?, whatever the diameter of the exhasut hole is), and knocked them clean out braking them off from the welds. It was nice, clean, completely open and actuallymadeit run better, as it had the throttle hesitation from thefactory.

However, I'm not sure if doing that will affect your EFI or not, and it also depends on if you are running rich, lean or perfect right now.

Yes you can drill or knock them out. Yes, it will make your bike louder. Yes, your bike will NOT be as fast and loose torque in the mid range due to loss of back pressure. Your choice.

I had mine removed while waiting for my slip-on, it sounds loud but I can't stand for the low tone, too bassy for me.

Save yourself time and money. If you're on a limited budgetget a set of cycle shack slip-ons. You will be alot happier. My .02
