Default Craftsman pro or harbor freight jack

Would like an opinion on what folks prefer. I am going to be getting a jack this month. I sold my lift a couple of months ago. I am looking at the craftsman pro or since there is a harbor freight store close by a Jack from them
has anyone had both.
The craftsman is 160 and the harbor freight around 90
would like some opinions

thank you

hft is fine. 90 is high. 60-79 with 25% off coupon. mine has lasted for years. the bottle jack recently got up to some nonsense but, this this has been a trooper. either way, use straps when even the bike is up on the lift. only takes one time for you to be sorry.

i just upgraded to a j&s lift but, i also have a larger bike i use on my lift. and i have modified it as well. the stock HFT is great. the craftsman may have a crazy warranty though.

I prefer a J&S. Cost more but you get what you pay for.

I've never used the Craftsman and everyone always says **** like "you get what you pay for" but it'll tell you that I've beat the **** out of my HF one and it still works fine.

Electrical **** from HF is garbage but hand tolls, jacks, **** like that...all day long.

Get one with a lock in case it settles. The 90 one at HF doesn't.

I have used both and if you have any reason that you might turn your back and leave the bike up, the lock is piece of mind.

Me $70 Yellow Harbor Freight jack (used a coupon) years ago has never had a problem. Used it couple months ago to pull transmission and transfer out of my Jeep no less. Needs 4 3X4X3/4 wood shims for a Softail to clear shocks.
When I first got it, the pedal that you push to open hydraulics seemed to drop a little fast. Instructions say push in harder to slow which seems backwards till you get use to it. Before working it out, I said something to the store. They told me I could have another one or they could just replace hydraulic jack. Told them to just do the hydraulic jack. It came in the mail within a week. So they stand behind their stuff.
The new part is still on the shelf since that is just how it works.

I had a Craftsman Red jack for years and it finely wore out.
Purchased a HF $60 one. Set both jacks side by side and other than the difference in color they were identical Bolt for Bolt. Even the hydraulic jacks were identical. Who ever makes the HF jack also makes the Craftsman. $$$ cheaper same quality and function. HF jack has been working just fine for a couple of years now.
