Default 2006 Sportster exhaust wraps

Hi!
What leght should the exhaust wraps be for 2006 XL1200L stock exhausts?

Don't buy the **** at the parts store...Autozone wants like $30 for 25'.

I get the 50' roll from the link above for $15 and I use all of it. I don't have stock pipes though. I would buy the 100' roll from that same link just to make sure you have enough and save the rest for later. Next time you'll know what size you need.

Quick heads up, you're going to have to re-wrap like once or twice a year. I ride everyday though, so your mileage may vary. The wraps will become brittle from the constant heat cycling and rain and start to piece off. Keep than in mind, that you will have to re-wrap.

Also, don't use those crap *** metal zip ties they give you, go to your local hardware store and get some hose clamps.

Read: CHEAP CRAP *** metal zip ties if you don't want the look of hose clamps, purchase some good metal zip ties from DEI or the like.

That's an option too...I dig the hose clamps because they're pretty sturdy and easy to work with, just make sure you get them a little bit bigger than the diameter of your pipes so you have some room to work with.
