Thinking about a new exhaust!!!
 

I have a 03 883 Sportster that I bumped up to a 1200.. i just added a big sucker to the mix. It is a great bike and runs strong.. So now I am looking at a new exhaust system. I like the short exhaust like the bassani's with a bit of black wrap. Or also I like drags & 2-1s. Again i do plan on wrapping the pipes a bit. I am looking for a deeper sound aswell...

What will i gain or lose with drags?

What will i gain or lose with pipes such as the Bassani's Pro Street?

What will i gain or lose with a 2-1?

I'm being biased, but I got to for the Basssani's. Mines a '00 883 that had the 1200+ kit done which included the Big Sucker II and the Bassani Choppers. I love'm.

I don't know what the numbers would be, and I'm not going to post any numbers/facts/torque curves/etc.As far as gain's, you most likely gain HP, Torque, and Sound,with any one of thethree as long as they flow better than the stock exhaust. You'll make a much need improvement in performance by adding the exhaust due to the increased air availability of the Big Sucker and the 1200 kit. My Bassani's gave me the deep throaty sound that I truly wanted. A couple of the neighborsmade the comments about it being much louderto me.

I'm going to tryto take some good pictures of the bike tonight to put in the gallery, so maybe I post you a pic of my Bassani's.
