Good spark and no gas getting to cylinder, seems to be coming back out carb throttle body spitting out gas,is it time to rebuild carb

Sounds like the timing is off, not the carb rebuild

Have you changed camshafts recently? How can one cylinder get gas and not the other? Spark plug wires not corroded/connected? How long since you changed manifold seals and carb seal? What model and year Sportster? We can't help you if you don't help us.

We need a little more info than what you put out.

I'm guessing he means CAMSHAFT TIMING rather than IGNITION TIMING.

2003 1200 Sportster custom, just did a compression heck 150 front and nothing in the rear, bike has 65,000 on it so I guess time for a tear down,I figure i’ll Start pulling the rocker box cover and take a peak first

That's a good clue something is amiss.

Good luck. Let us know how it goes.
