Where do you guys come up with this stuff. Not a Harley Fork to begin with weather FX or FL or any one from decades ago.
Ss did you read this on other misinformed threads or do you have personal experience with them?Does that go along with they handle bad threads,they can’t stop the bike if your going more than 30 mph threads. So much BS gets repeated on here it’s crazy.
Once again I’ve owned,and still own a HD FX that in 6 years of riding it’s had zero issues. I’ve worked on these bikes for years for friends and customers and only remember one FX that needed spearicals replaced. It had close to 90k on the clock. The shock wearing out will happen before the bushings wear out. Not saying they don’t wear out and need repair by any means. Normal riding and a squirt of lube on the rockers (Read that as maintenance )you’ll be doing fork sealS on a hyd tube before you have to repair a Springer.
Lots of juke knockoff springers being made for years you probably heard of being bad. I’ve seen two Aftermarket brands Break at the rear leg where welded to the bottom tree.Shitty mfg process,shitty welds. Most anyone who builds or been around custom builds know which company I’m talking about.
