registration information

***DUMB QUESTION ALERT***

So on my old bike the Vulcan EN500 I have this little box on the side for things like my registration. Does the 14 sportster have such a location where I can keep my registration/insurance papers? I have to admit I haven't looked all that closely, just curious before I start the hunt.

No special spot that I know of, I keep the reg and insurance inside the liner of my helmet.

interesting.... never thought about doing it that way. I have two different helmets but usually only wear the one. Great idea though.

You could put them in a zip-lock bag and tape them to the inside of the battery cover.

In WI they have moved to electronic registration, so no paperwork is required, just a license plate and for insurance, they accept a card or electronic copy on your phone. I keep my insurance card in my wallet, just in the event I can't pull it up on my phone.

I keep mine in the bag on my sissy bar.

I keep mine in a lay down licence plate glove box deal. Details here...

I keep mine where it belongs, in my wallet. Then if some is riding it who shouldn't be the registration is not with them.

Put it in a zip loc with a magnet, then under the seat. Or the inside of the battery cover. Best place is in your wallet.

all great thoughts, I'll have to think about it a bit. My state is ok with electronic insurance, but I still like to keep a card on the bike, just in case. I guess I'll just keep it in my wallet, no biggie, just used to having that little storage box.
