Default J & P Cycles

Beware when buying from J & P Cycles

after talking to a rep from Progressive I ordered 11 Inch 412 shocks for my Sporster from the link on the Progressive site to J & P Cycles .

The 11 Inch 412`s were not better than the stock shocks maybe even rode worse with them on it .
I contacted J & P Cycles and got told I had the wrong shocks for my bike by customer service rep and was told there was nothing they could do about it so I asked to speak to a supervisor well after a lengthy go around with him he checked with his tech guy and said that I had the right shocks for my bike but that if I had wanted a smother ride I should of ordered longer shocks.

so I asked about exchanging the shocks for a different set and was told they could not do that since the Shocks had been mounted.. I inquired about the 100% satisfaction guarantee and was told that only applies to parts that have not been installed so beware if you buy anything from them as the do not truly offer 100% satisfaction guarantee ..

Not sure on that one. If they did, they somehow managed to find the cash to buy out Motorcycle Superstore which I had bought ALOT of stuff from.

Try Revzilla next time. I've done a few purchases and they seem good. Haven't had to return anything, but they may be better. Their web site says:

No Restock Fees

Doesn't fit? Don't love it?

Return any unused item within 30 days for a full refund.

No-Hassle Returns

  1. Obtain an RA number
  2. Package your product
  3. Send it back to us!

Always check return policies... they are posted somewhere...buyer beware...I’ve never ordered from J&P because I’ve never found a better deal there.

Revzilla, Dennis Kirk, Powersport Superstore, Phat Performance, Jake Wilson/Riders Domain, Bike Bandit, Sport Bike Track Gear, Boardtracker HD, eBay, Amazon.

No reason to ever do business with J&P...
