Pulling baffles?Rejet?

If you pull the baffles on your exhaust do you have to rejet?

RE: Pulling baffles?Rejet?

Logic tells me if you pull the baffles in the stock or SE exhaust you are decreasing the the resistance of the exhaust gases and increasing the flow. That being said, without a corresponding increase in air flow intake (free-flow air cleaner), you might not have to rejet. Best way to get a quick answer is to check your plugs for proper color after a few minutes of normal riding with the baffles out. Many say you can put like a set of Cycle Shack free-flow slip-ons on without rejetting if there's no increase in air INTAKE (free-flow air cleaner).

RE: Pulling baffles?Rejet?

Pulling the baffles will cause a dip in your torque on the lower end. It will not run properly, you don't have to rejet for replacing mufflers but reducing the backpressure to nothing will lean your motor out and it will run poorly
