change of seat is easy and worthwhile , I switched back to my original seat for the same reason .

My 48 stock seat is a health hazard. I think my spine gets pushed into my brain when I hit a bump. I also couldn’t ride for more that 45 minutes to an hour without needing to stop. I’m a big guy so I needed extra cushion. Have a look at Harley’s Sundowner seat. It costs less than you’d think and it’s been a bikesaver. I don’t have a limit on ride time. VERY comfortable. It’ll be the only seat I’ll ever need. Harley will let you test one out if you go to the dealer. Just ask about the Demo seats. You can get the Sundowner as a solo with optional passenger pillion or the 2up Sundowner. I prefer the solo with the optional passenger.

I ended up with an aftermarket leather 48 style seat that had extra cushion , lol I am a skinny girl but I appreciate padding where it counts , I didn't know that the dealer had demo seats to try , my new seat seams ok but haven't been able to take a long ride yet , if I don't like it I will definitely take your advise , thanks so much
