Bike is down for a week....
Well in this day and age, you are a dinosaur if you cannot get your goods to market in a few days. Not only am I annoyed that I have some minor parts failures, but the need for those very minor parts that fail frequently, fit large numbers of bikes over very large model year spreads and the local dealer does not have them in stock, can't get them for a week. Total garbage. But hey if you need some shiny bobble that glows in the dark for $250, we have a few hundred of those laying around. What a joke.

I do have another bike, but my statement is still valid. I had to go to San Diego for work today and a local dealer had the oil cap and decided to just buy some bulk oil hose rather than waiting a week for the oem piece. I should be able to get to it Friday, but again, shouldn' have to do this. Funny, never bought a new Harley and was thinking about it the past few months but thats out the window if this is their idea of keeping their customers happy. There must be a huge continent of die hard owners who regularly put up with this ****. Not sure if it's just that time of year guys pulling bikes out for spring, but seems like lots of probs with bikes being posted : (

Hey, it's tough dealing with sunburns and bikini weather in January!!! My thermometer even got down to 33 degrees (once) this winter, and that's on the beach!!! Outrageous.
