How do the Avon Cobras wear?

Do they square off quickly or get scalloped?

I do a lot of highway riding. I would like to have tires with more grip but not if they are going to wear out super fast.

FWIW, using Dunlop American Elite tires, I can get 25-30K miles on a RG/SG/RK and 15-20K miles on a Dyna. So I guess I am pretty easy on tires.

Pirelli Night Dragons are the grippiest tire you can get for your 48. Alas, they'll wear-out quickly. I went with Continental white wall tires for my 48 and love them. Guess I should change my profile pic asap
